It's difficult not to be won over by Jepsen's perky pop vibe and on 'Cut To The Feeling' she's crafted another shamelessly fun pop song. (7.5/10) Craig David - Heartline
Craig David continues his big comeback with possibly his best song since he returned, mixing his classic sound with more modern club vibes. Catchy. (7/10) GIRLI - Hot Mess
With echoes of Daphne and Celeste and Shampoo this is a punky critique of being girl wrapped up in a fun pop hit. Neat. (7/10) Hudson Taylor - Feel It Again
The summery vibe and relatable lyrics hold this radio-friendly single together and the chorus is certainly a grower and will get you singing along. (7/10) Khalid - Young Dumb & Broke
With a slow gruff swagger this takes a bit to settle in but it's cool tempo and sway works really well. (6.5/10) Morrissey - Spent the Day in Bed
Though I may not be a fan of the man himself, he does produce a good solo single once in a while and here is his latest, a catchy and quirky electronic-influenced number with some nicely woven in political themes. (7/10) Rejjie Snow feat. Pell - Virgo
Every so often we come across a piece of pop-grime that grabs us and this week it's this catchy and quirky track from Rejjie Snow. (6/10) Sam Smith - Too Good At Goodbyes
Another strong tear-jerker from Sam Smith that has echoes of his James Bond theme, pulling together touching lyrics with a soaring and building style. (7.5/10) Superfood - Unstoppable
The heavily compressed verses are perhaps a little weird but the bouncy, poppier chorus and similar elements scattered through the song makes up for it. (6/10)

'Creature Comfort' is quite an unusual and eccentric track but somehow the mixture of vocals, paces and styles comes together. (6.5/10) Axwell /\ Ingrosso - More Than You Know
It might follow plenty of the expected codes for the genre, but the larger-than-life chorus works well and is one of the best club songs around at the moment. (6.5/10) BETSY - Little White Lies
One of the best artists around at the moment, 'Little White Lies' is a powerful, catchy, radio-friendly track with those vocals something else. (7.5/10) Bruno Mars vs David Guetta - Versace on The Floor
There are Daft Punk vibes to this new song from Bruno Mars, a slow and sultry number. The lyrics may be a little bland and telling a pretty by-the-numbers story but it's all wrapped up in the strong vocals and rhythms. (7/10) Calvin Harris feat. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean - Feel
Calvin Harris comes back with his best song in a long time, thanks to the strong electronic backing and the great guest vocals particularly from Williams and Perry. With a summery feel and a catchy chorus, this is a great summer hit. (7.5/10) Declan McKenna - Humongous
'Humongous' - a great word - is a subtle and gentle indie track but it has plenty of heart and is a definite grower! Stay alert for the end where it shifts up a gear quite considerably. (6.5/10) HAIM - Want You Back
'Want You Back' is arguably HAIM's best track yet, a poppy, catchy, well-written ditty with strong crisp production and a catchy rhythm. (7.5/10) Sundara Karma - Explore
Another act that can usually be relied on to bring out a good tune, 'Explore' is another sunny slice of catchy indie. (7/10) Texas - Midnight
Though it's not one of their biggest hits, it's got the sound and vibe you like from Texas tracks and it's got a fun bounce to it. (6.5/10) Tom Speight - My My My
'My My My' is a catchy and optimistic little indie number with plenty of heart and a strong indie feeling. Lovely. (7/10)

Coming to prominence in a month that's a little wrong, this is a catchy little piece of indie-op with some club-influenced moments. (7/10) Matinee feat. Pier Ferrantini - Satellite
A slow building verse gives way to a chorus that sounds like it should be on an album by 'The Killers'. Its perhaps not as all-out as their last single but the indie-pop-electro vibes work well. (6/10) Robbie Williams - Mixed Signals
The Killers must be kicked themselves that they gave this song away to Robbie. Sounding so much like their music aside from the vocals this a great driving mid-tempo song with a great little story central to the indie-pop-rock vibe. (8/10) Sam Way - Home Piano / My response 2 Taken from a longer EP these two gentle stripped back tracks focus on Way's dream and listenable voice. There's perhaps a little bit of energy that could be injected here and there but they're both neat little gentle ballads with heart. (6.5/10) Stormzy - Big For Your Boots
The lyrics might be naff at times and the video almost parody-like but the crisp production, fast flow and electronic sounds make up for it. (6/10)
Each year the BBC do their 'Sound of' poll where they ask numerous music bloggers, journalists and more who they think will be the upcoming stars of 2017, and you can find their 2017 longlist online. Each year we also do a similar thing and reveal our top fifteen tips for the top. We really shoot blindly with this list as we are just one magazine with our own thoughts but even if these artists don't chart next year at least you will have discovered fifteen new brilliant acts to enjoy. Florrie last released a single about nine months ago ("Real Love", above) which was played on mainstream radio following a couple of years releasing EPs of very high quality. Ranking highly back in 2011's X-Factor competition since then young singer-songwriter Janet Devlin has built up a fanbase through her distinctive covers of songs from all ages. Recently she released her original tune 'Outernet Song' which is one of the catchiest pop songs of the year, plus a beautiful EP of original Christmas songs and chosen covers.
